ZOWIE EC2 eVo Gaming Mouse Review

The mouse is very similar looking to the EC1, with a slight change in size. The black body is made of three parts of plastic that have a soft touch coating. The scroll wheel is made of a translucent material that we will have a closer look at when we check out the lighting. The cable is 2m with a gold plated connector at the end to ensure maximum conductivity.
Close up of ZOWIE EC2 eVo. The logo rests at the back of the mouse. Other than this, the design is very simple.
The EC2 is designed for right handed gamers. It has a slight ergonomic shape that you can see clearer in the photo below.
The side of the mouse features two thumb buttons. By default these are forward and backwards. These are a gloss black colour and are slightly counter-sunk so they blend in better.
The opposite side has no features, keeping the overall design clean and simple.
The underneath of the mouse features a 2300 DPI optical sensor and a button for switching between the different settings (these are 450/1150/2300). The bottom also features two very large mouse feet that keep the mouse stable, yet provide a very low friction contact.
For each DPI level there isa different light scheme. 450 is red, 1150 is purple and 2300 is blue. These are very faint when you have your light on, and the purple is almost indistinguishable from the blue.
So now we’ve had a good look at the EC2, lets set how it performs.
