Zyxel Launches NWA1123-AC PRO Dual-Band PoE Access Point

Zyxel introduces the NWA1123-AC PRO 802.11ac Dual-Radio, Dual Mount PoE Access Point to their growing family of high-performance, business-class wireless networking solutions.

The NWA1123-AC PRO is an enterprise-class 802.11ac dual-band access point that delivers combined data rates of up to 1.75 Gbps. It incorporates an innovative dual-optimized antenna and RF design to provide remarkable performance and coverage in challenging environments. This can be environments such as small businesses, home offices, hotels, and schools.

Dual Mounting and Antenna Pattern

Zyxel built the NWA1123-AC PRO with a dual mounting system, allowing you to mount it on a wall or ceiling. The 3×3 dual-optimized antenna design then enables technicians to change the antenna pattern with the flip of a switch. Whether the setup covers a single or multiple floors, this AP will allow for a setup to maximise the performance.

Central management is available through the Zyxel One Network utility. It eliminates the need for an expensive, complex, and costly WLAN controller.

Connectivity and Security

Businesses need a lot of features to keep everything running smooth and secure. This access point seems to cover that with support for RADIUS authentification, IEEE 802.1X, Layer 2 isolation, and WPA2 enterprise encryption.

You can easily deploy the access point with a single cable, and that is thanks to the PoE uplink connector that delivers network and power in one. There is a second RJ45 port for LAN connections, and the access point supports up to 16 wireless SSIDs.

Dynamic channel selection and load balancing ensure optimal performance in dense RF environments.
