Futuremark’s 3DMark 11 gets an update

As a review site, we are extremely fond on getting the best benchmark results in town by overclocking our equipment. Using benchmark tools allow us to see how our overclock and overall system performance compares to others from all around the world.

For DirectX 11 users, 3DMark 11 was released and has been a tool that we use and rely on quite heavily.

Futuremark have just released a small update to the award winning software which improves on compatibility issues with the latest hardware and Futuremark insist on updating the benchmark to take full advantage of that. Whilst it won’t give you a better score or improved results, it does futureproof you for any products that are on the horizon or that may have slight bugs.

If you already have 3DMark 11, you can simply download the patch here.
If you want the full pre-updated version 1.02 you can download it here.
