ASRock X299 and Z270 Unleashed at Computex 2017

ASRock has a lot of new motherboards this year. Including AM4, Z270, and the new X299 series! Let’s jump in and take a look.

ASRock Z270

The new Z270 SuperCarrier is a beast of a motherboard. I mean, just look at that thing! The armoured design is stunning, it’ll support all the latest features you can think of, dual M.2, quad GPUs, Thunderbolt, Optane and more!

X299

This is one of the hottest boards of Computex 2017. It’s one of the few mini-ITX X299 motherboards we’ve seen. The X299E-ITX/AC features dual Gigabit networking, a 7-phase power delivery system, four DIMM slots, armoured PCIe, 802.11ac WiFi and more!

Need something a little bigger? The X299 OC Formula has got you covered. It has a sleek design, but plenty of features. It also has five armoured PCIe slots, giving you lots of room for 4-way SLI/Crossfire

X299 Killer SLI/AC is another step up, as this one offers 8 x DIMM slot, although it does have fewer PCIe slots. For those who want up to 3 x GPUs, this is a robust option, and as you can see from the spec sheet, it’s packed full of features.

The X299 Professional Gaming I9 is one of their flagship motherboards. It’s got a super stealthy black finish, with black metal cooling hardware and fittings. It features a 13 Power Phase design, supports up to 3 x SLI/CF and more. It also has the powerful Creative SoundBlaster Cinema chipset built in, which is a nice bonus.

X299 Taichi

Again, another fully equipped board for X299. However, it’s the design that really stands out here.

X299 Gaming K6

Those eager to invest in a Fatality board will find what they need here. Three armoured PCI slots, 3 x M.2 support, 8 x DIMM slots; more than enough for an enthusiast gaming system.
