Club 3D have just revealed a new series of graphics cards. The ’13Series of graphics from Club3D is a new product line designed to target a much cheaper and more mainstream price point. These cards all use the premium CoolStream VGA cooler design, except the HD 7790 which uses a rather more modest VGA cooler.
Since Club3D recently made a move recently to be an exclusive AMD-only partner, it comes as no surprise that the ’13Series of graphics cards is comprised of entirely AMD GPUs. The ’13Series includes the following graphics cards:
- HD 7970 XT2 (GHz ed) ‘13Series
- HD 7970 ‘13Series
- HD 7950 ‘13Series
- HD 7870 ‘13Series
- HD 7850 ‘13Series
- HD 7790 ‘13Series
The new ’13Series is part of Club3D’s “black label/”white label” product segmentation strategy. These new ’13 series cards are part of the white label segment while Club3D’s PokerSeries cards are part of the black label segment. The white label segment is going to be aggressively priced and aimed at value for money, while the black label segment is going to be more feature packed and designed for the more premium market.
Availability should start immediately and UK customers should be able to find these popping up soon across a wide variety of retailers such as Amazon, Ballicom International, Kikatek, LambdaTek and so on.

“The white label segment is going to be aggressively priced”. I wonder. I guess that would depend on an individuals definition of “aggressively priced”.
By that they mean it will be more or less priced identically to reference models. Although of late MSI, ASUS and Gigabyte have all come out with custom cooled models priced similarly, but they will be competitive with everyone else basically.
Lol. You should know by now Ryan, I was just being my usual facetious self. I’m like that when it comes to graphic card prices. The prices have really become insane now.
Ha I know, just clarifying for other people that read too. Not really that much AIBs can do in the way of graphics cards though as AMD/Nvidia set prices. And the reality is the price goes up as they become more powerful, but we don’t really need all the extra power. Most single 1080p gamers could get away with a GTX 650Ti boost or HD 7850 which is about £125/$150. They both perform like what GTX 580s did and when they were reaching EOL GTX 580s still sold for £220/$250ish. I think if gamers are realistic about what they actually need, then prices are reasonable.
I’ve just done a a quick calculation. If I were to buy a Gigabyte GTX770 O/C Windforce 3x 2048MB (the card I currently use) i would have to pay the equivalent of 386 GBP (sorry, no symbol on my kbd). Now you’ll probably understand why I do a double take everytime I discuss graphic card prices. I fully realise it’s not nVidia, AMD or AIB partners fault or problem at all, but ours entirely.
