Android phones get voice and video calling

Google has a new feature fresh off the press, Google Talk with video and voice chat for Android-powered phones! The service allows users to make and recieve both voice and video calls with their friends and family, in a fashion similiar to Facetime for iOS.

The software is exclusively for Android phones. Calls can be placed over 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi connections, meaning you’ll never be stranded. Google have stated that this will be available as an over-the-air update as version 2.3.4 with Google Talk being included in Android 2.3 devices and higher in the future.

Im suprised they have time to chuck out these Apps with the amount of fun they have at the Googleplex 😛
