Legend of Zelda’s Temple Was Recreated Using Unreal Engine 4

Unreal Engine 4 has gained quite a bit of popularity over the last few years, all thanks to the efforts of dedicated people such as CryZENx who has been creating outstanding tech demos that show off the engine’s true potential. Some of the most impressive UE 4 tech demos that we’ve seen so far include partial recreations of games such as GoldenEye 007, Crash Bandicoot and Mario Cart, and the latest game to join the fold is none other than Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. YouTube user CryZENx has decided to focus on the game’s Temple of Time, which has been recreated using Unreal Engine 4’s tools.

The tech demo can actually be downloaded right here, and what’s really great about it is that it allows you to control Link and walk around the temple. Moreover, Link performs a standard attack if you click the left mouse button, or he can do a loading attack if you hold down the right mouse button. You can also jump using the E key and take out your sword by pressing the space bar. Pressing the space bar will also cause Link to roll around the temple. It’s all quite impressive really, so make sure to try out the demo on your own system and let us know what you think about it.
