AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D Leaked Benchmarks Show It as the Most Powerful Laptop Processor Yet

The upcoming AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D is shaping up to be one of the most powerful laptop processors ever made. According to leaked benchmarks published by HotHardware, the chip was tested inside an MSI Raider A18HX, and the numbers are impressive.

Dominating the Competition

This new chip seems to outshine every other processor currently available for laptops, beating high-end models like the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX, Intel Core i9-14900HX, and even the recently introduced AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395.

The 9955HX3D features 16 cores and 32 threads, built on AMD’s Zen 5 architecture, with a boost clock that goes up to 5.4 GHz. One of its standout features is the 3D V-Cache technology with 144MB, designed to boost gaming and high-performance computing.

If these leaked results are accurate, this processor could become the most powerful chip ever used in a laptop, especially for demanding tasks like gaming, video editing, and content creation.

The first laptops with this processor are expected to launch soon, likely alongside the next-gen NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series for laptops. With the launch just around the corner, users won’t have to wait long to see how well this chip performs.
