Streamlabs Announce Partnerships For HD Streaming PCs

Streamlabs Announce Partnerships To Produce HD Streaming PCs

We have often argued and been advocates of HD gaming (also known as 1080p) here at eTeknix. While having higher resolutions is nice, you need a system with enough punch to back it up. With stream gaming devices on the grow (most notably via Nvidia Shield), it’s hardly surprising that we would expect to see more companies try and join the party.

Well, the latest of these appear to be Streamlabs who, in a report via PCGamesN, have announced some exciting partnerships to bring a 1080p PC game streaming device to the market!

Who Are They Partnered With?

Streamlabs has confirmed that Antec, Intel, ACER, Shuttle and Simply NUC are all on board to make this a reality. Streamlabs, you may be aware, are behind the OBS software that is highly popular with Twitch. As such, with so much experience behind this, it could prove to be a very exciting addition to the gaming market.

Zotac Unveils Q-Series Workstation Mini-PCs with Quadro GPUs

When I saw the initial image, I already knew that Zotac had to be involved. We have already seen this case design from Zotac as part of their Q-Series of Workstation mini-PCs. With 1080p providing a more than acceptable level of quality though, if these are well priced, I can see them becoming a very hot item!

Streamlabs has said: “Configuring a streaming setup from scratch is a painful experience. You need to find, download, and install software, configure your bitrate and encoding settings, design and build your scenes…the list goes on. This partnership solves all that. These personal streaming PC’s are optimized out of the box and are ready to stream as soon as the device is turned on, making high-quality broadcasting much easier for both newcomers and experts.”
