Glacier Series
It’s time to take a look at even more stunning hardware from the folks at Phanteks. We’re in their suite at CES 2019 in Las Vegas, and they’ve brought out their new Glacier Series liquid cooling hardware! The new blocks are available for cards from ASUS; STRIX RTX 2080 and 2080Ti. There’s also new Aorus blocks; RTX 2080 and Ti Xtreme.
Obviously, they come with new and improved cooling fin designs, with a much larger surface area. There’s improved RGB lighting thanks to addressable headers, as well as a choice of black or chrome editions of each.
Of course, we can shoot off details all day, but speaking personally, I think they just look fantastic. The etching for example with the card name such as the “STRIX” logo below. I think that’s a great touch, and will enhance any custom loop setup. The clear and chrome combination is by far my favourite.
The blocks are all around $149, which is pretty competitive. they’ll be on the market sometime this month too, so keep an eye out.
