Warzone Season 3 Patch Notes Bring Tons of Change

Warzone has been in a slump for the past few months, as evidenced by its Steam charts. While it typically maintained around 100,000 to 200,000 players, it’s now struggling to hit 80,000 concurrent players. But it seems that this is all about to change with the release of Warzone Season 3, which brings huge changes to the game.
Warzone Season 3
Warzone Season 3 will see the iconic and much-beloved map of Verdansk come back to the game and Ravens Software are pulling out all the stops for the map’s triumphant return. The whole map has been remade while still staying faithful to the original. The map isn’t the only thing changing; there is a plethora of changes coming in Warzone Season 3, far too many to name, but we’ll highlight the main ones.
Some of the biggest standouts that I could see through the mountain of patch notes were some of the changes to the game’s omnimovement. The omnimovement was one of the biggest changes to Warzone, with it being introduced with the release and integration of Black Ops 6 into CoD HQ.
Changes to omnimovement, including improved crouch-to-stand speed and a reduced jump cooldown, suggest a return to faster, more agile gameplay, potentially including bunny-hopping.
Buy station prices have been adjusted with Armor Plates now costing $300, tactical equipment like Cluster Strikes and Precision Airstrikes priced at $3,000 and $5,000 respectively, UAVs at $6,000, Gas Masks at $3,000, Self Revives at $4,000, Munitions Boxes at $2,500, Armor Boxes at $4,000, Loadout Markers varying from $6,000 in Solos to $10,000 in team modes, and Squadmate Redeploys fixed at $4,000. All of this should massively change how games play out.
