Thermaltake CTE C700 Air Snow Full Tower PC Case Review

Thermaltake has big ambitions with its new CTE case series, unleashing several entries to cover all aspects of the high-end PC gaming market. From the smallest (bit still large) T500, right up to the biggest C750, there’s something for everyone here. However, today it’s all about the Thermaltake C700 Air Snow Edition (also available in black). This is a larger, E-ATX ready dual-chamber design, and it looks like it’s going to be extremely capable for those wanting extremely high-end cooling and components.

What Thermaltake Had to Say

The CTE C700 Air, a specially designed E-ATX mid-tower chassis from the new CTE form factor series, was engineered to provide optimal thermal efficiency and maximum airflow to ensure that critical components of your build are provided with adequate cooling. To achieve this the CTE C700 Air can support up to a 420mm AIO radiator not only at the front but also at the rear of the chassis. Three 140mm CT140 fans are pre-installed.

The CTE Series

  • CTE C750 Air Full Tower Chassis
  • CTE C750 TG ARGB Full Tower Chassis
  • CTE C700 Air Mid Tower Chassis

Features of the CTE Form Factor Series

  • 90-Degree Rotation of the Motherboard – The CTE design utilizes a 90-degree rotation of the motherboard providing a more efficient airflow pathway and allowing for the coolest and freshest air possible to be dispersed on your critical components more effectively and efficiently.
  • Move Critical Heat Sources (CPU and Graphic Cards) Closer Towards Cold Air – Since the CPU location has been moved much closer to the front panel and the graphics card moved closer towards the rear panel, independent cold air induction is given for thermal dissipation of the CPU and graphics card respectively.
  • More Efficient Intake Airflow – This overall approach has allowed CTE to provide better and more efficient intake airflow through the placement of main components and cooling, as well as optimized heat extraction from the system.
  • Available for AIO and Custom Liquid Cooling Systems – Designed to meet the needs of both all-in-one and custom liquid cooling solutions, the CTE Form Factor Series features 4mm tempered glass panels on the left side, allowing users to view and admire their components in their full RGB glory.
  • New CT Series Fans – New CT series fans are included, allowing users to choose from black or white, RGB or non-RGB, to match whatever colour scheme you have.
  • Perfect Dust Protection – There are fine removable filters at the top, front, bottom, rear, and right side of the chassis to provide excellent protection against dust, and they are easily removable for cleaning.
