G.SKILL Memory at Computex 2017

G.SKILL Memory

As one of the leading manufactures of high-performance memory, it’s no surprise that G.SKILL has some incredible products on show here at Computex 2017!

4800 MHz

On show, we had their stunning TridentZ Series. This kit was running at a whopping 4800 MHz, CL 19-19-19-19. Obviously, this will be an expensive kit, but for the enthusiast, it’s a must have.

TridentZ RGB

A little lower down the range, we have their 4000 MHz kit. This one operates at 18-19-19-39 and was running on the latest X299 chipset. They also had a kit running at 4200 MHz on the X299-DELUXE from ASUS.

With the modular synced, you can see how they create a rather cool effect. It almost looks like one ultra thick memory module here, rather than 4 x 8GB modules.

Of course, they’re not short on kits of higher and lower speeds, each running on a range of brand new X299 motherboards, so they’re clearly in good stead for the next generation of Intel hardware!

Notebooks aren’t doing too bad either, with their latest SO-DIMM running at 3466 MHz, pretty incredible for such small modules.

As a child in my 40's, I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
