Steam Helps to Pay For The Day Before Refunds

Calling The Day Before a dumpster fire seems a bit too generous considering the game and the company behind it had to close their doors just 3 days after the game’s release and left Steam to pay the bill. Since the game was released, it was pretty obvious how it would end considering it was a scam and most people knew it was a scam… Well almost everyone, as apparently 300k copies of the game sold to unsuspecting chumps and the insanely curious.

The Day Before Refunds

Since the company Fntastic has shut down and the game has also been shut down this has left many players wondering who would refund this piece of burning trash. Steam is known for its very generous refund policy, and is a shining beacon of hope for the players (see: suckers) of The Day Before.

If you don’t know how Steam’s refund policy works, it has two main very easy-to-pass criteria. One being under 2 hours of gameplay and the other being not having owned the game for more than 2 weeks. Of course, considering the game shut down within 3 days I’m sure they are fine.

For the people with more than 2 hours of gameplay, players took to reddit to make a template for support e-mails to send to Steam, requesting refunds and Steam responded by making exceptions for people who have crossed the 2-hour limit.
