Frostpunk 2 Devs Shares New Roadmap and Vows Big Changes

The sequel to the beloved city builder legend Frostpunk hasn’t been having a great time recently, with it currently being unable to live up to the hype and currently struggling to keep its players. The original now has 4x times that the sequel.

When the game first launched back in September, it received praise from most people, but it seems that the developers at 11 bit, have seemingly been unable to capitalise on the success of the launch.
But now it seems that this may soon change with the Developer 11 bit promising big changes that are coming to Frostpunk 2. With a new road map that will take us all the way to 2026 it will lead us through 3 DLCs, a console launch and multiple patches.

The first of these major updates will be released on May 8th and will apparently “Adjust the City’s management, paying homage to the order established by the first New Londoners.” What this will actually change is beyond me, but it implies that we will be getting features that bring it more into line with the original game.
Where to Buy

If you are interested in playing Frostpunk 2, you may want to check it out here on Steam. But if you haven’t played the first, which I cannot recommend enough, you can find that one here on Steam as well.
