Those owners that purchased their 3DS before the 12th of August may be entitled to some freebies, sign up to the Ambassador Programme and receive 20 free games from September 1st onwards, to do this you will need either to have created a Friend Code and accessed the Internet before August 12th or be in possession of your receipt or proof of purchase for your Nintendo 3DS system.

The program has been introduced as a result of the Europe wide price reduction and is a refund of sorts to those buyers that purchased before the reduction.
We know that because it is a short time since we launched Nintendo 3DS, this would have been disappointing for the loyal fans who supported Nintendo 3DS from the beginning. To express our gratitude we are offering 20 free downloadable games from Nintendo eShop as part of our Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Programme if you purchased your Nintendo 3DS system before August 12th, 2011.
The deadline for registering for the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Programme by connecting to Nintendo eShop or performing a system update has now passed. However, Nintendo 3DS owners who purchased their systems before August 12th are still eligible to join the programme and receive 20 free games from September onwards.
