EKWB Announces Water Block for MSI GTX 1080 Ti Graphics Cards

EKWB Announces Water Block for MSI GTX 1080 Ti Graphics Cards

MSI and EKWB are partners in the creation of the GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk EK X graphics card released last month. Now, EKWB officially introduces a different full-cover water block specifically for MSI’s GeForce GTX 1080 Ti products. The EK-FC1080 GTX Ti TF6 cools critical areas, not just the GPU itself. The VRM and the RAM receive the benefit of the inlet split-flow cooling engine as well. This is the same cooling engine that EKWB utilizes for the CPU water-blocks and is proven to be quite effective. It even works well with reversed water flow without adversely affecting cooling performance. Even when used in loops with weaker or undervolted pumps, the EK-FC1080 GTX Ti TF6 can still effectively perform.

Made with Nickel-Plated Copper and POM Acetal Material

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is a high-end video card and many gamers consider it an investment with expectations of long life. With that in mind, EKWB made their EK-FC1080 GTX Ti TF6 water block with nickel-plated copper for durability and aesthetics. This material is also an excellent thermal conductor, while the nickel-plating keeps corrosion at bay. This water block features the newly introduced aesthetic terminal cover that reveals the graphics card model. Users can even leave the pre-installed backplate on their MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming and Gaming X 11G videoc cards.

Pricing and Availability

The EK-FC1080 GTX Ti TF6 water block is available for purchase beginning June 16 via the EK Webshop and EKWB’s partner reseller network. It is available for 122.95€ with VAT and is compatible with four MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card models:
