Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Patch 1.3 Changelog Released

Guerrilla Games and Nixxes Software have released patch 1.3 for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered on PC, bringing a range of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. Players can now enjoy a more streamlined experience with the addition of an Auto Pickup option, eliminating the need to gather resources manually. Accessibility has also been enhanced with the introduction of a Color Blind Mode, allowing a wider range of players to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of Horizon.

This update addresses several gameplay issues that were present in previous versions. A notable fix ensures that machine eyes now flash red before attacking, providing a clear visual cue that was previously missing. Additionally, DualSense controller users can now experience rumble feedback even when connected via Bluetooth, which is great for me, as I have been having to use the Type-C cable hooked up to my PC in games that don’t support the Bluetooth feature.

Further refinements include improved custom key mapping for mount actions and a fix for a rare bug that prevented the Meridian gate from loading correctly. The developers have also tackled various minor bugs and visual glitches, demonstrating their commitment to optimising the game for PC players. These updates collectively enhance the overall gameplay experience, making Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered even more enjoyable.

However, I’m still going to go out and say it every damn time I get the chance. This game did not need a remaster, a total waste of time and money. But, well, it’s here, so it is what it is.
