Philips Introduces 32-inch QHD HDR IPS Monitor with USB-C

The Philips 328P6AUBREB has a DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, and VGA connectivity. However, what sets it apart from other monitors is that it also has a USB-C port. It supports DP alt mode, PD, and data. The USB 3.1 Type-C standard, unlike other types before it is reversible, and is smaller than HDMI or DP. Which makes a convenient cable for connecting every function since it is high-bandwidth capable. USB-C enables users to charge, transfer audio and video signal, and connect to the Internet, all in one cable. USB 3.1 is actually 20 times faster than USB 2.0, plus it can also deliver enough juice to charge laptops. Users who do not like a lot of clutter on their desk or have room for extra cables will be glad with the convenience.

Pricing and Availability

The Philips 328P6AUBREB is not available yet until next year. The good news is that it will be available in January 2018, so the wait is actually not that long. It has a retail price of £439 GBP.
