We Explore The Sony Booth @ CES 2016

CES 2016: Sony have an absolutely huge booth at this year’s CES, and with such a vast range of products on the global market, it’s no wonder they need so much space. There were no huge innovations there, at least not as far as I’m concerned. TV’s are bigger, cameras are better, prices are better, although at the end of the day, none of that is a bad thing.

While not particularly consumer focused, their new HDR 4K cameras are certainly impressive, a lot of power in a fantastically compact size.

Again, nothing new here, but their SmartWatch 3 and Xperia Z5 Premium are always nice devices to see out on display.

As well as the rest of the range of their smart devices.

The new Mobile Projector was certainly cool, I just wish I had more time to play around with it. This tiny cube can throw your pictures and video onto a screen directly from your mobile. Pico projectors are nothing new, but again, their quality and prices continue to improve year on year.

The latest Sony MP3 players and headphones, which sounded fantastic as most Sony audio gear always does, but it’s the colour matching that really caught our eye.

Some of the latest PlayStation games for people to demo, after all, most of us can’t resist picking up a game or two to kill some time.

This is a great one too, the new 4K Processor X1 for displays. The colours and motion on these screens is really a sight to behold. Nothing we could capture with our cameras, but certainly something we can’t wait to see in the new generation of 4K displays.

As a child in my 40's, I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
