TP-Link Smart Home Products Now All Compatible with Google Assistant

Digital assistants are the big thing at the moment as they allow you to control most of your home when coupled with other smart devices. TP-Link has now announced that its entire family of smart home products are compatible with the Google Assistant.

With the integration of Google Assistant on Google Home, Google Pixel, and compatible Android phones, consumers may now easily control their TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs, Smart Plugs and Smart Wi-Fi Switches with the sound of their voice.

Google Assistant integration for Google Home and Google Pixel requires that the TP-Link Kasa App remote control function be enabled. Once enabled, users can control their TP-Link smart home devices via voice control by saying “Ok Google,” “Hey Google” or “Hi Google,” followed by instructions and the name of the device.Enabled smart devices are named via the Kasa App. Google Assistant voice control provides the ability to switch smart devices

Enabled smart devices are named via the Kasa App. Google Assistant voice control provides the ability to switch smart devices on/off, or provide more detailed commands, including the ability to dim and brighten the lights or change the colour of any color-enabled TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulb. Current colour name options include yellow, red, blue, purple, orange, green and pink.
