Today marks the official release day of the Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT graphics cards and with every graphics card release comes the different cooler options from the various AIB partners including ASRock who’ve shared their Phantom, Steel Legend and Challenger graphics cards.
ASRock RX RX 7800 / 7700XT Phantom Gaming OC
The Phantom Gaming lineup is ASRock’s top model underneath the Taichi variants and is available for both the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT. Both cards feature a triple-fan cooling system with Striped Ring Fans, a deflecting Fin and an Ultra-fit Heatpipe for maximum cooling efficiency. The card features a sturdy construction with a metal frame and metal backplate to prevent sagging and bending. The design of the card is quite prominent with a central ARGB LED panel and fan which is combined with Polychrome SYNC software to control the colours. Both of the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT come with factory overclocking of 2565 MHz and 2599 MHz respectively.

The Steel Legend is a new model for the RX 7000 series and was previously only seen on ASRock motherboards. These cards for both the RX 7800 and RX 7700 XT sport a white design with a triple fan cooling system using the unique striped axial fans, air deflecting fin and ultra-fit heatpipe. This card also features a metal frame and backplate for extra structural rigidity and features a camo design on the backplate. Both the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT come with a factory overclock of 2520 MHz and 2599 MHz respectively.
ASRock RX RX 7800 / 7700XT Challenger OC
Finally, we have the Challenger OC cards which are the lower-end models with a value-for-money approach using a dual fan cooler design. The card uses two Striped Ring Fans and an ultra-fit heatpipe for efficient heat dissipation plus features an LED indicator to make the card more eye-catching. This card uses a metal backplate for a stronger structure plus high-quality super alloy components for more stable operation. Both the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT cards are equipped with factory overclocking of 2475 MHz and 2584 MHz respectively.
