The Saints Row open world action-adventure game series by Volition represents a great alternative to titles such as Grand Theft Auto, especially if you’re looking for something with more comedic value. However, it looks like the Saints Row universe will be put on hold for a while, as Volition is currently working on another big project named Agents of Mayhem. This upcoming game will also be open-world and will also feature an urban landscape, and it might even have a connection to Saints Row as far as the story is concerned, which definitely sounds interesting. This single-player game will have you take over three special agents, namely a bounty hunter / reality TV star that’s called Hollywood, sky pirate captain Marina Santos, nicknamed Fortune, and US Navy Command Ishmael “Hardtack” Funderburke.
Naturally, these characters will be equipped with various guns and gadgets, and they will use their skills to fight off the forces of evil. There’s not a lot of other information regarding this project so far, but its official announcement cinematic trailer shows that it’s probably going to be a laid back, fun game that will keep you entertained for quite a bit once it comes out.
