GeIL’s world’s first HDST dual sensor gaming mouse

GeIL today held their Overclocking Showdown featuring two famous Russian overclockers (Smoke and Slamms) and took the opportunity to present us their latest gaming product line dubbed EpicGear and are starting with a bang presenting the world first HDST mouse: the Meduza.

HDST stands for Hybrid Dual Sensor Technology, as you can seen from the picture, under the mouse are two sensors, where you’d usually find only one.

This time around, no need to choose between optical or laser, as both work in conjunction to provide super fast speeds of up to 6000 DPI with the laser while a precision and jitter-free operation is provided by the optical sensor.

Other than this whole new feature, The mouse feature seven programmable buttons with a total of five gaming profiles with a 128KB of on-board memory and, as expected with most of today’s enthusiasts mouse, customizable LEDs.

Connected through a USB 2.0 interface with 1000Hz polling rate and a ARM 32-bit Cortex-M3 processor to manage all this, the Meduza comes along a two year warranty.

Said to be released sooner rather than later, the price of the GeIL Meduza should be around $79.99.
