Starfield Hotfix Changelog Reveals Fixes For Pesky Creations Bug

Have you been trying to enjoy Starfield, only to realise the game would freeze rather than load? Well, it seems it was largely due to Creations. If you removed one, then loaded your save, it would freeze, which is obviously a problem, as that makes them unremovable or the game doesn’t bloody work. However, a recent hotfix seems to have fixed this, and now with the changelog, we can see what the heck was going on.

The update also fixes an issue with Microsoft Store, which would fail to open after using Quick Resume. It’s now easier to buy credits from the Steam Store, and a few other little fixes have been thrown in for good measure.

However, downside (sort of) is that Creations with modified .ini files have been stopped, as they were causing a lot of problems and will look into finding a solution to this shortly. This makes sense, as if two mods change the same bit of code, there’s going to be a conflict.

Otherwise, the game remains unchanged since the last proper patch.
