EK-Quantum Momentum² ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming D-RGB Monoblock
EK Water Blocks have announced their new EK-Quantum Momentum² ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming D-RGB Monoblock specifically designed for the ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming motherboard. This is a complete all-in-one (CPU and motherboard) liquid cooling solution for AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. This Momentum² monoblock is EK-Matrix7 compliant and doesn’t require removing the factory-mounted heatsink before installation.
The Monoblock provides a low profile solution for CPU cooling to small form factor cases and directly cools the AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPU and the MOSFET heatsink which instead of replacing it simply complements them by connecting with thermal pads and during testing EK found that this reduced VRM temperatures by 20°C on an open test bench when compared to the stock heatsink aircooled.
Superb Cooling
Small form factor cases can often be an issue when it comes too cooling as the options for cooling are limited but this monoblock is designed exactly for that. Using the latest generation of EK-Quantum Velocity² cooling engine which ensures the best possible CPU cooling without reducing flow to other components by using a specific combination of mounting pressure and coldplate geometry tailored for the IHS and die layout of AM5 socket processors.
The Design
This is a true one-piece, sturdy, and reliable liquid cooling product that requires only two connector fittings for proper operation. The base of the monoblock is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is made of quality cast acrylic material. The nickel-plated brass screw-in standoffs are pre-installed and allow for easy installation. The Clear acrylic top is designed to allow for the included D-RGB lighting to truly shine and is addressable through the ASUS AURA Sync software.
