Silverstone’s Upcoming Flagship “ALTA” Case is Insane!

Silverstone's Upcoming Flagship "ALTA" Case is Insane!

Silverstone ALTA

We’ve seen some pretty big chassis with unique designs at every show we go to. However, the new Alta prototype from Silverstone more than caught our attention. It has lashings of brushed aluminium, loads of thick and tinted tempered glass, and it looks utterly unique.

One thing that really caught my eye was the curved right side panel window. It rolls over at the top and the bottom. However, it’s a prototype and right now, the glass ripples on the main flat. Now, Silverstone say this is not their intention, but honestly, it looks amazing the way it evenly ripples like someone threw a stone in a pond. Some said they hate that, but I do not.

RGB

Of course, it’s packed with stunning 200mm RGB fans throughout, throwing loads of colour through all that glass. More than anything though, the angles on this are sublime, it really does look gorgeous.

It’s actually based off of their Raven series. Albeit, it’s bigger than a Raven. However, it still uses a rotated motherboard design, so the rear I/O is at the top and GPUs, CPU cooler and fans exhaust upwards.

There’s a hidden compartment in the top, allowing for all your cables to pass through the rear.

On the interior, you’ll find three 200mm fans in the base, giving a vast wall of airflow throughout. There’s a massive air cooler in here, but easily room for liquid cooling too. Plus, two massive AORUS graphics cards showing you just how much space there really is in here.

What do you think, too big, too much, and do you like the wobble in the glass? Silverstone may replace the curved glass with two strips of aluminium and a flag bit of glass instead. Thoughts?
