Developer Human Head has reportedly slapped Prey 2 in the bin.
That’s according to Dutch site PSFocus (via Gamespot), which says its was given the tip by ‘multiple reliable sources’. Bethesda has declined to comment.
Bethesda had apparently cancelled several presentations of the game scheduled with press at GDC earlier this month.
Prey 2 was set to be a big departure from the previous game. Unlike the original’s linear shooter gameplay, Human Head promised an open world for players to bounty-hunt aliens in.
Quite a shame it is too, as the first title was a great sci-fi shooter.
