PowerColor RX Vega 64 Red Devil Unveiled

PowerColor RX Vega 64 Red Devil Unveiled

PowerColor is releasing a custom Radeon RX Vega 64 card and – size-wise, at least – it’s quite the beast. The thick PowerColor RX Vega 64 Red Devil is out soon, but in the meantime, VideoCardz is giving us a glimpse at the goods.

PowerColor RX Vega 64 Red Devil

The PowerColor Radeon RX Vega 64 Red Devil is a crimson-styled video card with three 85mm fans and a chunky 2.5 slot heatsink. In fact, the heatsink covers the whole the PCB. The card also sports a nifty LED Red Devil logo across its flank.

Inside, though, the RX Vega 64 Red Devil contains two DIP switches: one acts as a triple-BIOS switch (why the card has three BIOSes is yet to be revealed), while the other controls the aforementioned Red Devil logo LED.

While the board appears similar to the reference design, it is, in fact, wider, presumably to accommodate the triple-fans.  In addition, the card features two DisplayPorts and two HDMI ports; the reference, however, features three DisplayPorts.

Unfortunately, we don’t know the RX Vega 64 Red Devil’s specifications yet. Hopefully soon, though. The card is expected out next month.

According to VideoCardz, PowerColor is also working on a custom RX Vega 56.

  1. Looks amazing, I wonder if how much they will charge as premium over the reference card. I might just get one for my Ryzen build.
